At Lone Star Publishing, we're dedicated to bringing the words and images of talented writers, educators, and artists to the page with style and grace. Whether it's in our nonfiction or our fiction books or in our other products, we are committed to offering the best not only in content but in production quality.
Unlike most publishing companies, we are directly affiliated with a full-service, established printing firm with an experienced, dedicated staff. This gives us unprecedented quality control at all levels of the publishing process, from acquisitions and editorial work to printing and shipping. It also allows us to work more directly and personally with our authors and artists, and to schedule, produce, and deliver to market quality books in a fraction of the time required in the standard publishing process.
While our products are available through retail booksellers, our individual readers may purchase copies directly, at a discount, through our website. Educators and educational agencies may also make direct purchases of books that are to be used as texts or supplements to curricula.
Our two debut volumes of Texas history are just the beginning. Our proposed projects for 2008 and 2009 include novel-length fiction, art history, educational texts and supplements, technical manuals, Christian and religious books, cookbooks, art prints, posters, audio books, subscription e-books, streaming audio service online, and much, much more.
